Seahawks Hold Off Raiders

SEATTLE – Signs of support for the Marysville-Pilchuck community dotted CenturyLink Field Sunday as the Seattle Seahawks hosted the Oakland Raiders. Thousands of fans packed the stadium, many remembering the victims of the Marysville-Pilchuck High

“First of all, we have to know it and understand it so when Russell just gives us the signal or the call or one word, we all know what to do,” Sweezy said this week as the Seahawks were preparing for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders at

Up 24-3 at halftime, the Seahawks hung on for a 30-24 victory over the still-winless Raiders at CenturyLink Field on Sunday to move into sole possession of second place in the NFC West.

And waiting to cheer them on will be a packed house of 12s. Among the 68,000-plus are a woman from Auburn who has a thing for Doug Baldwin , a Marshawn Lynch fan from Yakima and a 9-year old from Idaho who is attending his first Seahawks game.

The Seahawks return from playing back-to-back road games, and playing three of four games on the road in October, to face the Oakland Raiders on Sunday afternoon at CenturyLink Field.
